August is the time where schools gear up for students coming back from a fun-filled summer. Due to the economy, many schools and students are forced to start school without the necessary tools. As Jaycees we know, Children are our future and we need to support them. The Texas Jaycees are asking you and your chapters to adopt a local school and provide them with the necessary tools for success. If you select a school and donate at least $200 of material your chapter will receive 1000 pts in parade and be listed on the Tools for Schools Wall during the FOYT convention.
We will be marketing this as a whole state so that non-Jaycees can also support this cause through their local Jaycee chapter. So, if your chapter is interested and wants to be a part of this impact contact the First Gentleman or President katherine.
