How-To Add Your Photos/Videos

Did your chapter just complete a fantastic project and you want the entire world to know about it? Here is how you get seen:

Photos

1. Please resize your photos to a max width of 600px or a max height of 550px (This is important as we can not post your photos if higher) (here are a few software’s for resizing images (Photoshop and more).
2. Zip 20 photos at a time (Here are a few software’s you can look at Zipper, Winzip, and more. If you have Windows XP or a Mac.).
3. Send an email to texasjaycees@gmail.com with your zip file(s) (Note: Please keep total attachment size under 5MB).
4. In the “Subject Line” of the email use the following format: Chapter Name – Photos/Video(s) – Event Date.
5. In the “Body” of the email please include a short description of the event.

Photos from an Online Gallery

1. Please resize 5 photos to a max width of 600px or a max height of 550px, then zip them.
2. Send an email to texasjaycees@gmail.com with your zip file(s) (Note: Please keep total attachment size under 5MB).
3. In the “Subject Line” of the email use the following format: Chapter Name – Photos/Video(s) – Event Date.
4. In the “Body” of the email please include a short description of the event and the link to the online gallery.
5. Your 5 photos will show, then the link to your gallery below it.

Videos

1. Find your video on any of the following web sites: YouTube, Google Video, Daily Motion, Vimeo, Veoh, Viddler, Metacafe, Blip.tv, Flicker, Spike, Myspace, or Flash.
2. Send an email to texasjaycees@gmail.com.
3. In the “Subject Line” of the email use the following format: Chapter Name – Photos/Video(s) – Event Date.
4. In the “Body” of the email please include a short description of the event.

That’s it! Give us a day or two and your gallery will be gracing the Texas Jaycees state web site!
